wow, I know more by reading Pluggy(supermoderator) 's Blog:

Is There Really a Talkgold Conspiracy?

First off, just because I'm analyzing some of the questionable and shady circumstances feeding these conspiracy theories... which are not necessarily my theories, but theories taken from other forums and blog sites... doesn't mean I'm stating for a fact that these conspiracies are the sole explanation, nor that I believe they're true. Personally, I think most of the speculations are somewhat exaggerated and over the top. I'm just stating what might lead one to such conclusions.

But conspiracy theories usually have some basis in fact. Conspiracy theories rarely ever just pop up out of the blue for absolutely no reason at all. When you dig deep enough through the meaningless crud you usually get to some underlining facts which they're formed from.

Okay, so lets get down to the nitty-gritty.

Theory #1. Talkgold (TG) is secretly running Hyips and Autosurfs behind the scenes, and Pleaseinvest (PI) is its latest and greatest creation.

When you carefully examine the strange nuances surrounding PI, it's not hard to figure how one might come to that conclusion. This, in addition to some of the TG mods like Fallen who have been involved in scams and shady activities there in the past, as well as the other mods engaged in cheerleading and questionable promotion activities, not to mention the almost undeniable connections... or at least TG's open support… of totally misleading program schemes like Guaranteedhyip and about two dozen other sites, a questionable connection with the GPTforum (which Pamela aka twinx1970/Jess Chekkin/kpix/Rainy Daze/lil crusader, a Catty member, is an admin of) makes it much less of a stretch to come up with some of these inevitable conclusions as well.

But putting all that aside, what are some of these questionable nuances specifically about PI that just don't seem to add up?

1) How is PI able to afford the advertising? Well over $8k a month at Talkgold alone… quite possibly close to $10k… probably better than $12-13k a month with all other forums combined. Not to mention the free $2.50 sign up bonuses PI offered to the first 5-10k members. We're talking serious numbers here… maybe in the $30-40k range.

How can they possibly afford this?

Hell, even for a small legit investment company, those are staggering numbers… for a ponzi, especially in these dismal days of a stark ponzi recession, it's damn near improbable.

The only thing one can conclude is that these are admins who ran some huge scams in the past and have the money to splurge. Or… they're getting some serious favors and discounts from somewhere or someone.

The latter would make it somewhat probable if about 60-70% of the ads and promotions were being given to them for free… but in exchange for what?

But if the former were true, and only the former, why would a bunch previous scammers risk throwing so much of their hard earned money into this one ponzi scam in the first place? A bit risky, isn't it?

2) Why is Ryz cheerleading it so enthusiastically, pushing it so hard, not just at TG, but other forums as well? This is somewhat unusual and inconsistent to Ryz's post history as a TG mod and how he's maintained a constant tough and cynical, anti-cheerleading, anti-scam image, and, like most TG mods, is quick to clamp down on just about any ponzi that even looks suspicious or questionable or appears to be harboring over enthusiastic cheerleaders, spammers, and ref whores.

Some have speculated that Ryz is being paid, either by the TG admins, or the PI admin himself, to promote this. Putting that aside, however, at the very least… does Ryz know something, heard something behind the scenes, that we don't?

Btw, just as a side note… CEP is ironically one of PI's biggest competitors (CEP, which Ponzinemesis has coincidently made a serious, almost fanatical, effort to bring down lately).

But here's Ryz doing his part to troll in the CEP thread with his PI signature ref link displayed in all its glory: Here

Is it just me, or does that look like a blatant troll/spam attempt? From a TG mod?

3) Why haven't notorious trolls like Ponzinemesis and Brenda (Catty) or any of the other trollers who frequent Talkgold gone after PI? Especially considering the suspicious and questionable circumstances surrounding it… seems like it would be a prime target. You'd think that all that attention and success and controversy PI's getting would attract the career trollers like flies. Yet none of them (save Dogman) have ever even set foot in that private PI folder at Talkgold.

Why?

Even with statements like this made by one of Catty's closest right-hand henchman Bonaparte (Napolean at cattyshaq.com), that their main criteria for going after programs were those specifically advertised at Moneymakergroup (MMG) forum...

Sorry my criteria doesn't match yours king. Mine is much simpler: paid ad/sticky on MMG or GPF, I go after it. IM qualified based on that, not my fault.

But they still refuse to touch PI, even though PI advertises at MMG as well, and even had a banner there last time I checked.

Some of PI's competitors: Swisscash, CEP (and its sister sites), 15hd (and its sister sites), Lighthalzen, Infinitemultiplicity (before it got torn down), Cellcfund, Mygoldgenie.

Some of the notorious TG saviors who have a crusade to save us naive newbs from getting burned: Catty (including Lita, Jesschekkin, Bonaparte, okosh), Ponzinemesis, Accountant, shipdit, dogman.

Catty - targeted Infinitemultiplicity, cellcfund, Lighthalzen, Mygoldgenie... totally ignored PI.

PN - furiously targeting CEP and its sister sites... totally ignoring PI.

Accountant - targeting Swisscash, CEP, LH... totally ignoring PI.

Dogman - furiously targeting 15hd... and although he use to target PI, he is totally ignoring PI now all of a sudden (very odd).

Shipdit - trolls in just about every hyip out there... yet totally ignores PI.

Could it be that Brian gave Catty and the other trollers a private warning not to touch PI? And if so, why? Could it be something even more sinister… an intentional and mutual conspiracy?

Or if neither one of those are the reason, what other reason is there for this unusual disregard? Perhaps a coincidence?

4) Why was Talkgold so quick to censor the WWSN forum and Code4gold forum, both of which have been the most vocal about the unanswered questions and topics about Brian's shady activities, including the PI situation? Which can be seen here:

WWSN forum

Code4gold forum

What is Brian trying to hide? Or is he trying to hide anything at all? If the conspiracy theories aren't true, then why go so far as to censor them in his forum? Isn't this the same guy who advocates "Free Speech" no matter what the cost?

Theory #2. Catty and Ponzinemesis were hired by Brian to give his forum a lift (publicity wise) and his non advertisers, competitors against the ones that did advertise, a rough time.

1) What exactly did Lita, another one of Catty's top dawgs, mean by this unusual post:

My focus lately has been to stop some ponzi's before they hurt to many newbies. With so many ponzi advertisers out there, I have plenty to chose from. If I chose to avoid TALKGOLDS ads, that is my perogitive. There are plenty of others to chose from. Even though I don't approve of ponzi's, I still have my loyalties to TALKGOLD.

Could Lita be haplessly revealing some sinister plot she's involved in… perhaps on a conscious or even sub conscious level?

Or could that just have been an aimless declaration of her admiration for Talkgold?

If the former were true, it admittedly doesn't make much sense. Would she be that stupid to reveal such a plot publicly?

However, the latter seems somewhat odd as well considering how anti-ponzi she is, or at least proclaims to be, and the fact that Talkgold is just as much a pro ponzi advertising vehicle and community for such activity as any other forum.

Either one is peculiar.

2) As already stated, the Catty clan have declared that they specifically target MMG advertisers. But they refuse to touch PI, and stayed away from other heavily advertised programs on Talkgold like EuropeTrade and Solid Investment, just to name a couple out of dozens of others, all of which advertised at both TG and MMG.

Yet they relentlessly went after Infinitemultiplicity and Cellcfund, which had no ads on Talkgold, but were heavily promoted on MMG…. also two of PI's competitors.

Just a coincidence?

3) Catty and her crew hijacked the Inifinitemultiplicity thread at TG, bashed the program to no end 24/7, and was even officially warned by Brian himself to move on and stop trolling:

Catty, Tgcjm and others, please cool this off a bit. You have the right to post your opinions, but you guys are getting off topic, trolling, and are getting a bit personal here.
Not to be rude but some people seem to waste their entire day arguing and picking fights. Isn't there anything more productive for you guys to do then stating the same thing over and over?

Ponzinemesis began to step up his furious and continual attacks on CEP and all their sister sites… seemingly out of the blue, but just about the time PI began its TG promotional campaign… and was also issued this warning by Brian…

Guys this is getting out of Hand.
Ponzi Nemesis, You need to stop obsessively posting in here the same basic messages. Its one thing to state your opinion that a program is a scam, however you are posting the same basic thing over and over again and making statements about people that you do not know are facts. I have warned you several times in the past not to troll, yet you continue to do so. I don't mind having you here giving your opinions, but you need to step it down a notch or you will be banned. Talkgold is here for opinions to be shared, not for one individual to take over an entire thread and make it turn into a warzone. Understand?

Yet Brian never followed through with either warning, and they continued their relentless attacks, speculations, lying, bullying, trolling, and ridiculing the supporters afterwards, unabated.

Could it be that Brian was just afraid of reprisals by Catty and her crew? Or could those warnings have been just a facade to try and smother suspicions about his apathetic attitude towards these people?

Take your pick. Either one is peculiar.

4) Why was Catty and her band of troublemakers given so much free reign at TG to slander, bicker, assault, and tear down program after program in the first place, considering most people clearly know what their objective is… to stop Hyip and Autosurfs, period… and considering that TG, like MMG, serve as a community that advertises and caters to such programs, and especially after Bonaparte/Napolean's public anti-MMG declaration?

I think it's safe to assume that if someone publicly declared they would use MMG as a platform to attack programs solely advertised at TG, the admins of MMG would at least step in and address the matter.

Why the apathy by Brian? Was it really just cloaked behind "Free Speech" or was there something more to it?

5) Catty finally did get temporarily banned at TG after she and her crew were about to target Lighthalzen… coincidently, another NON TG advertiser and a direct PI competitor that was on the rise.

Ponzinemesis finally did receive extra pressure to stop trolling in the CEP thread (yet if you notice, he's still attacking and trolling the CEP thread and its sister sites, unabated).

But in both insistences it was due to one renegade mod me222, who was obviously acting on his own cognizance, rather than orders from the TG admins themselves, and this occurred only after a heated discussion was raised in the warzone section at TG about the out-of-control trolling activity : Here

What reasons lie behind Brian and the other TG admin's seeming indifference to these issues and the sabotaging that's been going on in their forum? Should these all just be brushed off as coincidences?

Should Brian just be considered a grossly overrated and incompetent administrator?

Whatever is true or not true, the questions remain unanswered. Maybe there really is a valid conspiracy. Maybe there's absolutely no validity to these questions… speculations… whatsoever. Maybe there's some validity floating just below the surface of the exaggerations.

For example… maybe there's no direct mutual conspiracy between Brian and Catty, but rather Brian just saw an opportunity to use Catty and her crew as unwitting tools for publicity purposes and to give a couple of programs that weren't advertising there a hard time, which is why he refused to step in.

But does this make it any less despicable?

Another example… maybe TG isn't actually behind running PI as some of the theories suggest, but instead were given free deposits in exchange for free or discount advertising, extra promotion, and extra protection against trollers. Brian has vehemently denied putting any of his own money in PI, but if he got free investments added by courtesy of the PI admin, then he's not necessarily lying, is he.

But does this make it right?

Whatever the case may be, my feeling is that there's too many questions to just ignore as a fluke or a series of coincidences, if one looks at the entire picture honestly. And the deeper one digs, the more nagging questions are uncovered.

It's a ruthless money game out there. It's an arena littered with cyber criminals engaged in illegal activities, where shadiness is just par for the course, so should it come as any surprise when we find out that people who are involved in this ruthless and illegal game one way or another, don't exactly walk a straight line?

It would sort of be rediculous to even think that that could be possible.
